My father served in North Africa, Italy and Europe 1940-1945 as part of XXX corps as 'First Line of Communication' supplying ammunition, food and troops to the front line. In North Africa he was seconded to the 7th Armoured division, Gordon Highlanders, Green Howards, 4th Indian Division and the Free French to name a few . He was very vocal about his experiences and I recorded many hours of him reminiscing through my own video production company, Meadows Farm Studios Ltd.
