I am an 8th Army enthusiast, paying homage to my father and his fellow
Desert Rats, who fought the Axis forces in North Africa in 1940-1943.

I work with various Living History Groups. My own display is a representation of a western desert camp with a wealth  desert collectables, desert critters, period tents, fake rocks and a 1943 LRDG Willys jeep. But sometimes I am with a considerable number of other re-enactors and desert vehicles.  We all love chatting and giving talks to school groups and societies.  I have also been a tour guide for
a group on the battlefields of El Alamein for an 80th anniversary tour.
